The hotel was quieter than expected, and the friendly desk staff made check-in a breeze. The area felt unsafe at night due to suspicious individuals lingering around.

Fit our Budget way less than Best Western - room comfortable and had been recently redone with fancy antique dresser sink. Had microwave/Fridge. Elevator to upper floors and parking underneath - although they said there Breakfast room was still under construction - they gave us a 20% discount on meals bought at the Denny's less than a block away (almost next door 2 min walk and open 24/7)
Although read of complaints of Auto noise off of 101 - we were not on that side - had window open all night no problems. Did not see air- conditioner - but Eureka is not known to be overly hot and our trip was in Oct.

great base for exploring eureka's landmarks and parks
The hotel provided secure parking as we ventured out to enjoy the vibrant local sights with the north coast repertory theater and the charming old town, both just a few steps away. We loved taking leisurely walks around these historic areas and soaking in the views of the beautiful surrounding parks.

Nice people. Clean room. Decent bed. Close to a lot of the stuff I wanted to walk around and look at.
Highway noise a problem with window open. Needed window open for air circulation. Difficult to block out the noise as hotel sits on Hwy. 101. Closeness to downtown comes with trade-offs.

The room was nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and we like the slider that opened and allowed lots of fresh air into the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located.
The hotel was in the process of being renovated while we were there so there was a funny smell in the hallway due to the construction. Other than that everything was great.

Convenient location near old town
It had just been taken over by new management, so thinks needed a lot of attention - E.G. in our room only half the light bulbs worked, and some of the electric sokets did not work. Generally needed to be updated.

The room wasnice and neat. The staff was attentive, and they made check-in easy. The breakfast selection was limited, a bit disappointing, but the coffee was decent. I appreciated the convenient location close to Starbucks and Denny's. The parking situation could be tricky, especially with tight spaces. I noticed some individuals hanging around outside was good. I felt it was a good spot for a quick trip.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. There were also no children running around, so the hotel was pretty quiet. Joe was very nice and entertaining as well.
The sauna was not working, no breakfast available in the building and the fire alarm got set off because of all the renovations going on in the building.
